Limited public test

durmem is in a limited public test: the number of accounts is capped, and sign-up pauses when the test is full. These terms cover the hosted service operated by Durmem LLC. You must be at least 18 to use it.

Your responsibilities

You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide the service, as explained in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for what you and your connected agents upload, for the access you give them, and for protecting your sign-in links and credentials.

Do not upload data you are not allowed to use, illegal content, malware, secrets you do not intend to store, or information that requires a stricter data boundary than this hosted test provides.

Hosted stores

Hosted stores are encrypted at rest and in transit, but they are not end-to-end encrypted. The hosted service needs server-side access to store content to answer agent queries and operate shared memory features. Use self-hosting if your requirements do not allow that access model.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with other users, attempt unauthorized access, overload the system, or use durmem to violate laws or third-party rights.

Availability and changes

The test may change, pause or end. We may change features, limits, pricing or access rules. We will announce material policy changes and a pause or end of the test on the site and by email to your account address, with reasonable notice where we can. Pausing sign-up because the test is full needs no notice.

We make nightly backups on the same server, kept for up to 7 days where storage allows. They are not a guarantee: data may be lost, so keep your own copies of anything you need.

Cancellation and deletion

You can stop using the service at any time. Email us to request help exporting, correcting or deleting your data. We may verify your identity first. The Privacy Policy explains retention and the limited records we may need to keep.

We may delete a hosted account that has never saved a memory after 30 days from sign-up or its most recent qualifying use, whichever is later. Starter examples do not count as saved memories. We may delete an account that has saved a memory after 90 days without qualifying use. Qualifying use means a recorded read or write through a hosted store; it resets the clock. We send warning emails before deletion and include the planned date. If we cannot confirm eligibility or the required warnings, we do not automatically delete. Deletion includes the account’s hosted stores and their saved memories. Keep your own copies of anything you need.

Termination

We may suspend or end access for misuse, security risks or to operate the test safely. Urgent action may happen without advance notice. Ending access may include deleting hosted stores, subject to the retention limits in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty; limited liability

durmem is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements or that any data will be preserved without loss.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.
